Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you book our workshops at a distance (online, by phone, or by email), you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of the day after the contract is made, without giving a reason and without any charge. If we do not provide you with this information before you enter the contract, your cancellation period is extended to 12 months.
If you expressly request that the workshop takes place within the 14-day cancellation period, you acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once the service has been fully performed. You may still cancel before the workshop begins; in that case we will refund any payments made, minus an amount proportionate to the services already provided (if any).
To exercise your right to cancel, inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. by email or post) before the cancellation period has expired.
Workshop Cancellations
We understand that circumstances may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to all participants while allowing us to prepare appropriately for each workshop. The following applies after any statutory cancellation period has ended, or where the statutory right does not apply.
Cancellation by Participant
- More than 7 days before the workshop: Full refund available
- 3 to 7 days before the workshop: 50% refund or full credit towards a future session
- Less than 3 days before the workshop: No refund, but booking may be transferred to another person
Cancellation by Zipharonsquozrel
In the rare event that we need to cancel a workshop, we will:
- Notify you as soon as possible
- Offer a full refund or credit for a future workshop
- Provide alternative dates where available
Rescheduling
If you need to change your workshop date:
- Contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled session
- We will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability
- Rescheduling is free of charge for the first change
- Additional changes may incur an administration fee
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers for our workshops:
- Are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Are non-refundable but may be transferred to another recipient
- May be applied to any workshop of equal or lesser value
- Can be topped up if applied to a higher-value workshop
Refund Process
When a refund is approved (including refunds under your statutory cancellation rights):
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice (as required by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for statutory cancellations)
- Funds will be returned to the original payment method
- You will receive email confirmation when the refund is processed
Workshop Materials
All flowers, foliage, and materials used during the workshop are included in the price and become yours to take home. Due to the perishable nature of floristry materials:
- Materials cannot be returned or exchanged
- We cannot guarantee how long your creation will last after the workshop
- Care instructions are provided to help extend the life of your arrangement
Faulty or Substandard Services
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be performed with reasonable skill and care. If our workshop does not meet this standard, you have the right to request a repeat performance or a price reduction. Contact us as soon as possible if you believe the service was not provided to the required standard.
Special Circumstances
We recognise that exceptional situations arise. If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from attending, please contact us to discuss your options. We aim to find a solution that works for everyone.
Private Events
For private group bookings and corporate events:
- A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking
- The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event
- Cancellation terms may differ and will be outlined in your booking confirmation
